Nikhil Dhingra

Nikhil established The Advocate in September 2018 with the goal of providing a voice for college students passionate on various policy issues. He served as the Editor-In-Chief of the publication and focused on recruiting writers, generating content, and promoting student work.

Alexandra Bixler

Alexandra is from Carmel, Indiana and is pursuing a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations with minors in inequality studies and law & society. Alexandra works at American Promise, a political organization dedicated to passing a constitutional amendment to limit money’s influence on politics.

Gillian Hand

Gillian majored in Government with a minor in Creative Writing. She is interested in public policy, law, and international relations.

Josette Barrans

Josette Barrans studied Government at Cornell University. Growing up right outside of DC in Arlington, VA, she has always had a passion for politics and advocacy.

Adelina Branescu

Adelina is a junior majoring in Information Science. She created this website and continues to maintain it.

Archishman Sravankumar

Archie is a senior studying CS and Mathematics. He was the original treasurer.

Nikhil graduated from Cornell in 2020 with a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations. He will be working as a consultant in the National Security Practice of Guidehouse LLP, based out of Washington D.C.

Former Copy Editor: Ryan Lawrence

Ryan graduated from Cornell in 2020 with a BS in Applied Economics and Management. After graduation, Ryan intends to work for a political consulting or lobbying firm.
